Yesterday we went to look the area, ended up by coming to some very dark and scary forest, and when we crossed it, we found ourselves near a river that flooded into the swamp. As it turned out (I then looked at the map) if i somehow cross these marshes and river, then there are still almost 10 km of forest and marshes, and only then one dacha settlement. Unfortunately, I did not take photographs there, but there are such huge spruce trees. It's day outside, and it's completely dark inside, and there's no grass, only some old logs are lying.
Yesterday we took an interesting walk. But while I do not want to go there anymore, walking around the swamps during the rains was a bad idea.

Wow. You must supply a lot of people with cucumbers if you need that many seed.
Lol, no, i just missed some cucumbers in my greenhouse. They overgrown, begin to be yellow (if the cucumbers are too big, but still green - geese cat eat it, but geese don`t like yellow cucumbers). Well, i taked the cucumbers and get the seeds from there.
I'll dry them and put them in a box, it's better when there are lots of seeds than when they are not enough. The seeds can lay some years widthout any problems (of course too old seeds can have bad germination).
It`s an old variety yet, since 1979 year. My grandfuther used this cucumber variety in he`s greenhouses.

In general I prefer the older, heritage strains of vegetables. Nice that you carry on your Grandfather's choice cucumbers.
