Happens every now and again.
Love photos. Haven't been around much - just short glimpses of other cities when going to dog shows. Spent 1.5 days at Niagra Falls (never realized we were poor),or a couple hours in Springfield, to see Lincoln's home. Stayed a very brief time in Wisconsin Dells,couldn't afford a kennel for the dog so he came with. Drove us nuts barking, and rolled in some awful, ????? as we headed for home.
One real vacation, a few days at Sanibel Island - paradise. With my sister, husband and her 2 kids. I walked the beach every day before sunrise- scooping up shells. Always thought I'd get back there after I had my son. I wanted him to get to play on a real beach and pick up shells with no one yelling about it. Never happened.
When we got back, found the living room and kitchen filled with flower bouquets- to learn my mother had sent me off with them - so I wouldn't know she had breast cancer surgery. Surprise I learned anyway. Seriously don't like surprises since then - only surprise people if it's going to be a happy occasion for everyone. Still cry thinking about it. Then she refused the proper treatment.
