It's a Betta fish or commonly called a fighting fish. You cannot have more than one in the same tank, or they kill each other. But other than that they are fairly easy to care for.

That cord is distracting, but, found they do better with a Bettea Bowl heater. This bowl sits right up against an outer wall. Gets too cold for them. He is a purple/marroon coloring. The bowl sits on top of the heater.

A certain puppy likes to dig and it was raining this morning. Said puppy was in the bath while I mopped the floor.

Her face was covered in mud up to her eyes. Literally! Up to her elbows and knees too.

Tish tosh can't believe the little angel doesn't have bigger paw prints than that. Truly looks like she chased a mud footed mouse in the house. Wasn't her.
