This flower surprised me. I never knew I could keep one alive. A daughter brought it over for Mother's Day. It had some petals on it, but more came within a few months. Love it. It's now dropping the old ones but here is a photo of it fully bloomed.

My heart skipped a beat....

My birth totem.
I actually held my breath looking at this.. *swooning
We have 4 different species of owl here on our property. I sit every night, alone and meditating, listening to my people.
That is a beautiful photo.
I would love to save it, for myself only.

He is fine, healthy, thinks he's my dog. Watches us as we do yardwork, (he lays in the sun) comes & hangs out by the fire pit, sits & gazes at sunsets with me, even accompanies me on dog sitting walks, poses for photos, brings his vixen & kits to play & roll around in my grass behind the big barn by the cornfield. I call him Dude, for whatever reason, he likes me.

Are you feeding him chickens?

You certainly have a menagerie! Exactly how many & what kind of animals do you have??

Right now:
2 chickens
7 rabbits
2 mini pigs
1 dog
7 tortoises. (3 adults 4 hatchlings).

Shopping chickens, but honestly I'm not sure I want any more critters until we get some land.
