Confiscated ducks. One of the ducks was sitting on the nest, but I noticed that someone (probably magpies) were stealing eggs from her. I had to chase the duck off the nest, take the eggs and put them in an incubator. In a couple of days, ducklings began to hatch. When they grow to a size that the magpies cannot threaten, I will release them to the adult ducks.
And these are other ducks that were originally hatched in an incubator.
A green plastic net covers my attempts to plant decorative bushes there, such as hawthorn, rose hips or barberries (I put it up so that the ducks wouldn't dig anything there).
One of my chickens near the compost bin. Once upon a time these beams were a house, then it was torn down, I took and built a bin from these logs for composting old tops from the greenhouses in the fall and manure from the barn. When the bin is full, in the spring I will throw some soil on top and plant a pumpkin or squash in there.
I apologize for the low quality of the photo, I just have a rather old, antediluvian mobile phone.
