I have an explanation. The fish in your clip is likely an Asian Carp.
Those fish have invaded our waters here in the Midwest USA.
Here is a YouTube clip of them jumping.
There was a story of a person being hit by one, and died. (while on a boat cruising)

Jumping fish can be seen when they go to spawn, but in the case of this pond - it is unlikely that it is spawning fish, and I also suspect that this is a pond in which the fish are bred by the owners. I remember being in one place in the Moscow region, there since the times of the Soviet Union a whole line of small ponds was dug, and fish are bred there. But it is not so jumping, it swims much more calmly.

Think you did perfect to repair it.
In principle, yes, a book can be quite useful. I have a library of sorts at home, it would be boring here without books. The only entertainment in the village is a supermarket. True, my father has a volleyball court, and my mother has ping-pong, but I'm too lazy to play it. After work, I like to sit quietly and not make unnecessary movements )

I totally understand that, and aware of such practice in European countries. Those are a different variety of carp.
The Asian variety are the HIGH JUMPERS.

The ‘elephant’s foot’ at Chernobyl nuclear power station. The mass formed during the reactor meltdown as a searingly hot lava of uranium and reactor material burnt its way through several floors into the basement of the power plant.
I don't think it's a good idea to approach such things. It's at least unhealthy.
