I tried searching on that image to find the back story, with no luck- the photo appears all over the internet, but I couldn't tell the source. One site identified it as a "Greater Crested Raptor-footed Wallaphant". Perhaps it's a sick bear and its hair fell out? Or maybe it's photoshopped, or a different type of animal?

I found it on Facebook, and we do know they don't allow anything to be posted on Facebook that isn't scientifically accurate and legally truthful.
