Oh, yah, I always keep tincture of opium handy to treat my poultry. I picks me own minty leaves and crush 'em for the oils, too.

If I recall properly LOMOTIL was a prescription drug for diarhea - it was an opiate. I don't remember if it helped with the problem but, I sure felt nice and peaceful.
