Just lost the road by the house...








It has to be up at least 30 feet to top the road an this is the first time it has taken out the road in my lifetime. I am also at one of the highest points around. I think the citys in the valley down stream are evacuating...


This is one that someone in the valley just posted.

 
We are fine. Had family that could not get home an stopped by till water went down. WE flagged the road with Ethernet cord an walmart bags.

We are on a mountain at about 1800 feet. People along the Tennessee River are going to be in bad shape though.. I am questioning weather all the dams will hold.

Been seeing a lot of pictures of major flooding happening in areas ! Can't believe the destruction it has caused ! as long as no one gets hurt I guess ? everything else is replaceable
 
Holy Hockeypuck - 'rainy night in Georgia ! ' - on the bright side, maybe the carmaker would pay to use those pics as a commercial to show what it can withstand and still run (I hope)

I think you need to move out of there.
