in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

You made the bowl and cloth 'bit-by bit" ?
That is rather cool. especially if it is an ice bowl.

Yea, the bowl started off as a ball an the cloth started off as a flat square.

Then I chopped up the ball

Applied cloth an gravity physics to the square till it came to a rest.

Changed from wire frame to a solid.

Then added a glass texture to the bowl, gloss texture to the table an silk texture to the cloth. It took a while to get the lighting right then I rendered it out.

The ice letters were done the same way. Block letters with water an gravity physics added to them for about 4 frames of animation. Froze it on the 4th frame an added a glass texture, some lighting an rendered it out.

All of this was done in Blinder which is free. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blender_(software)

I am going to play with that. I am not computer happy, so it might be a big mistake.

I still have this cold which now has entered my brain and makes even the simplest task unnaturally impossible. I made my oatmeal with pepper this morning instead of salt. it took me a while to figure out why it tasted strange.
It wasn't bad though. Raisins can absorb a multitude of culinary errors and still make food better

Very cool. People make a good living doing this sort of stuff. Do I sense a new career starting here?

I enjoy all your posts so much!

I'm still smiling from Teddy the pumpkin eater and the puppet dog and the back scratching bears. (Did you notice the mama with the 3 cubs had a collar on? Must have felt so good to rub her neck.)
I really love Teddy! I watched all of his videos on YouTube.

I think the one with the bears was taken in a national park.
