in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

Hey Reb, next time you have to get a car out of a frozen lake in Georgia keep this Russian technique in mind.

I could see that giving some people a heart attack though, especially watching them rappelling down from higher levels. I would have thought terrorists for sure. It's a shame we are victims of the times and have to cast a jaundiced eye at everything. If I could get past the great scare, then I would have enjoyed the performance very much.

BTW I think they have raptors on their arms.

Hi. I have seen this video first time here, in this site :)
But dubinushka is a very-very old and famous (In Rusia) song, i think that this song knowed the futher of my grandfuther yet. Various people song that.

I looked at the author of the video, and read some sites in Internet. Well, In Rusia are one radio "Nashe Radio" ("Our Radio"). They started (i am not sure, i think that they are started... Or maybe anyone else, and the radio only used a music and help in this project) one project width various musicants, and famous and unknown, and song various old Russian songs width using modern musical instrumens. I googled where are something, and find:
http://mp3ostrov.com/?string=проект соль наше радио

I am not sure is legal or not, but there are some songs of this project. Be careful, i don`t know, maybe in this site can be any computer viruses. This is not any my site, i find it by google. Right button is "download".
There songs are not my favorite, but Dubinushka is not bad, i like it. My musical interest are another, i like japanese vocaloids. Any Hatsune Miku, Akita Neru, Sakine Meiko. Synthetic voice and computer grafic :) Something like that. This is Meiko:

I don`t know, it was a good idea or not, but i don`t hear Dubinushka, i hear Hatsune Miku. I am a strange russian man, is not it? :)

Thanks you all! I was listening to a German industrial band called Rammstein until my son requested me to get closer to the edge of normal.
..what is the fun in that?
I think a Russian listening to Japanese music is not at all strange. You are on my side of normal.
