My girls are NOT laying for me this winter. They are too old I suppose. I have to buy eggs for this.

My too, i take only one-two eggs every day, and no one more (today i taked one, yesterday i taked two). I think that they have a pause before the next season. My chickens are young, they are no more as 1 year old.
Maybe i used not enough meat. For example, when i dig a potato (i have one little potato-field) in the summer and in the autumn, the chickens always run to me for eat the worms in the earth (there are always much good worms). But now they don`t get any worms, and don`t lay enough eggs. Yesterday i boiled a grain (i don`t know the name of this grain in english, we boil it as a food for the people, and it is normal to give it to the fowl). Well, i don`t use the water, i use the soup-water of my food, width the meat of the cow (i buy it for me and eat it, some meat and the water where was the meat i use for boil this grain). When the chickens receive this food - next day i receive the eggs, if i give only a grain and any grass - then i don`t know, sometimes they laying no one egg.

In the summer are easy - they always have various worms, and every day i have the eggs. The name of my chickens are leggorn, this is a small funny chickens width much eggs.

I have seen a "rabbits", this is a funny food too. In the past time i worked in the restaurants too (winter seasons, when i don`t had much work on my earth). I can prepare various food ))
