Yep. I grew up where in door plumbing was still new. I had it in this house an the other house had an outhouse.

Out houses were outdated an a pain I would hate to go to doing that again.. TP like the outhouse is an outdated part of history that no one will miss when gone.

Its like owning a shower. People use to clean using rough rocks. Now we take a shower. Rocks are free an showers are $1000 but we buy them. How much do you spend on out dated TP a year when a bidet is around $50.

How cold is it?

Haha i remember one time when my neighbour had some problems width the heating in he`s house (some trees falled on the line of the electric power, we did not have the power some days, he had the heating of the electric boiler. The weather was really cold -38 C), and in the toilet my neighbour had the situation like that (i did not have any problems, becaurse i don`t use the electric power for the heating). But he had very nice and expensive toilet, he`s wife buy it in the Italy when she traveled ))). Some time more - and the expensive toilet will be broken by the ice! What to do?! We go to the nearest shop, buy some bottles of a cheap vodka (!) and used this drink for the toilet (!). When in the toilet tank are the vodka there can`t be any ice, and in the toobs too. It was really a crazy, but effective idea )))
After this problem my neigbour buy one generator )))
