Celsius or Fahrenheit ? because we had -50 and some areas actually had -54 Celsius so far this year . -25 c is a nice day these days it seems ? as long as the wind stays away it's not bad

Celsius. Here in Rusia we don`t use Fahrenheit, this scale i have seen only in some technik (for example my incubator have two scales - Celsius and Fahrenheit).
But today is warm yet, -10 C. The nigths are cold, but i use the stoves (electric stove 1000 Watt in the room of my geeses, and one stove where are the fire in the room where are my chickens, ducks, 3 geeses and 3 turkey).
In the summer i will build a new rooms for the goats and fowl, there i think to build one big stove of the bricks (i the past time i build the stoves of the briks, it was my job and my hobby, i learned it in one special school). There i think to do one tank for hot water and the place where i can wash everything (the places for the fodder, the pails. Now i wash it on my kitchen and this is very-very unconfortable... The pails are too big for to be washed in my little kitchen).

Ahaha, i remember my scool, i was 7 years old, there was the monument of Lenin, this man don`t have any hair on the head, he are bald. One unknown joker taked one big shawl, and do the bandana to this monument! It was very long time ago, then we lived in USSR, had the communists everywhere and the teachers wanted to catch this joker and asked everybody, maybe anybody have seen who wored a bandana to Lenin?! But we laungh as the idiots and answer that there are the sun every day, maybe Lenin wored the bandana by himself, because if he will be all the day under the sun, he will have the headache.

After the 20 years, when i finish the university yet, i was near of my old scool (i went to one work), the monument are there, and... HE ARE WORED ON BANDANA AGAIN. I think that this is any funny tradition yet, to wore a bandana to Lenin. The teachers swear every time, and sometimes use the police, but young scoolboys do this again, every year in the holidays (when there aren`t any teachers). They don`t do anything another, don`t toutch the flowers near of the monument, don`t write anything - but every year after the holidays there are the bandana...
Maybe if i will there i will do one picture )))

My girl Abby with her squeaky toy. The dogs want to go out but it is too cold. Her brother Chance just sits at the door crying to go out to play in the snow.

This is our "perfect pedigree" goat. Bow legged, dehorned, and she has the biggest belly I've ever seen on a goat. (No, not pregnant, and no worms. Just "well rounded".) We all love our Holly.
