Ah, i don`t know about that but when i was in the army (in past time) some people tell very scary stories that whe workers in the kitchen spit in the soup and do another. Some my friends stop eat anything in the dining room. I did not believe in that and did not stop eat (i worked in the kitchen and see at all the pots and look at the workers too, they never did that, i never have seen, i worked there all the day). After some time my friends begin to be very lean and hungry, but they did not believe me, they believe... to some workers from this kitchen, they deliberately telling scary stories, and then took away all the food yourself (and eated it) and even traded. When the officer look at that they answered: "we did not know why the cadets don`t eat the food". The officer try to eat the soup - the soup was normal. But the cadets did not eat. And every day i have seen how some workers (who "split in the soup") take all the food what did not eated the cadets and take it to the house. Every day... But the cadets (my friends) did not believe me... Well, i begin to take this food too, what can i do if they don`t believe me? When i returned from the army i was so fat, and the people did not understand: where i was: in the army or maybe i was all the time in any chocolate Factory )))
I don`t know anything about that. In Rusia we have one old holiday "old New Year", it begin later as the Christmas or the New Year, but i can`t tell that is any serious holiday. In the past time (before 1919 year) the russians used another calendar, and New Year begin 13 days later as in another country. But 13 yanuary gone, i really don`t know what New Year can celebrate any men in march (!).
