Hey, I nailed one of these a couple of years ago.

We used to saddle them up and ride them when I was a kid.

These are tule elk, still in velvet (growing out their antlers) in the Suisun Marsh, about an hour north of San Francisco.

Couldn't take it to the taxidermist, it's way too big to fit in a taxi.
