Whats sad is that is what dating has became. Guys are not willing to walk up an ask girls out anymore an girls dont know how to act when they do.

This is so true. So many of the young people, and I'm not just saying teens..but young people know how to talk better with their thumbs better than their mouths. When my kids come over, and that phone starts being picked up...they get a look..not real onery here, but more of a disappointed look.. It's just what they do..or.............they can hold that >>>>dang thing up and talk into it now..still not talking face to face. We still have a land line, we still use it. Yes, we have cell phones, but we don't text..us old foggies us.

Well it's true things have changed but, I think boys were never really brave enough to approach a Hot chick. They would ask their friends to find out if so and so girl liked them first, and vice versa with the girls.

I was very shy - the only time I was the aggressor was when I found a boy shyer than me. Then I felt powerful. The shy guy would get pumped because I (was very pretty way back when) was giving them lots of attention. As soon as their confidence bloomed - they figured the sky was the limit & traded up. Ah me - the story of my life.

I think Ray Charles used to sing my story "Still single after all these years." - okay I took some poetic license there.

I text if I need to tell my brother to call our dad or some other short thing. If I actually need to talk to someone I will drive to their house an talk. I have never felt right talking to someone that I could not look in the eye.


An I dont even check my computer, phone or TV if I have company.
