It really is hard to see those big ones come down. More houses, everywhere...where the fields once were. :/

To put a positive spin on the loss of the really big ancient trees the younger seedlings actually absorb more carbon out of the atmosphere than the old trees do... although the old trees produce a heck of a lot of oxygen

Ok, why are they hatching these?

Gator farm. They are food an skinned for leather. Some people raise them as pets. We had two as pets growing up.
