in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

It is supposed to get to be 22 here, blaa.
We can not afford to heat the green houses. so ...

Last night was 6 degrees warmer than they predicted, so maybe they are off eleven degrees tonight.

I have to drip my water on windy cold nights, around 20 degrees or less. We got down around 0 degrees last night I think an the bathroom froze up even with it dripping. The valve for the shower that is in the wall between two heated rooms even froze an would not turn....

Most people dont. Ours was at one time but most of it has been torn off. Everything seems to like to eat that stuff or use it for bedding. The cost of redoing it is usually not worth it when you can just drip your water 5 or 6 nights a year.

Touche 3goodeggs. I guess it's not something you think about when it's everywhere here. My biggest setback right now (which is no where near as frustrating as a house) is our outside water is frozen. We get everything from a well and for winter I have a tiny hose on the spigget and as long as I drain it it hasn't froze up...until now. But I guess it's not so bad considering it's like a -30 windchill. So for the next day or two I'll be lugging water from the house.

It is a bummer that you're having pipe issues in your home. I hope it all gets sorted out quickly and painlessly :)
