One of the first wild flower in the spring here. It named "Mother and Stepmother" because the lower part of the leaf is soft and warm, hairy, and the upper one - smooth and cold.
Tea from these flowers and young leaves is the best remedy for bronchitis. I remember when I was a schoolboy, in Soviet times we were forced to collect a kilogram of dried leaves and take them somewhere to produce medicines. Of them, they made some kind of syrup.
 
Pasha I bet you were the best at collecting the leaves.
It was a school practic for young children. I was 7 years old.
These plants are quite common here and they are easy to find, but a kilogram of dried leaves is (with unaccustomed) a lot. At least then, I thought so.
I remember the choice of picking dried nettle. Either this plant, or young nettle (young nettle do not burn the hands, and sometimes even eat it in salads, although I tried and I did not like it. It is also used for the production of some medicines, but which I do not remember). Today I poured fertilizer on strawberries, saw this plant and remembered it.
