Oh, you all may wonder, why in the world get pups that may out live you! Well, we have a son and his wife that will be 1..either moving in with one or the other of us if one goes into a nursing home, or passes away. 2..it will be their home when we are both gone, and they love dogs too! Cooper goes ballistic when they come over. You would think he was already his dog. My DH has been diagnosed with Dementia. Thinking mixed at this point.. Alz. And Vascular. He has declined somewhat since the first part of the year. So, have been talking with this son and DIL about moving in with me when the time comes that he needs to be in a home. That's if I don't go first! The dogs will know them well, they come over often.

The thought never crossed my mind, but it sounds like a good plan. It's better to have 2 youngsters together I think, we have one small dog tgat is 12 and Frank the Tank who is 8 months old. I think he needs a puppy as a companion, my old girl doesn't play much. Hence the dog park on a regular basis.

I'm sorry to read about your husband. My MIL has dementia but not the Alzheimer's type. I hope things slow down for your him and you enjoy your time together

Somewhere in the forest

I hope one day i will have enough time for explore all the marshes here. I like this place, here are a forest width one small river, it spreads into the marshes. I have one strange idea after exploring the marshes and the forest buy some wild ducklings and goslings and begin to breed they there. They will fly away, but return. It`s time to conquer all these marshes by ducks ))
