Toby is our buck, all grown up now. We were told to not get a buck as they stunk and were mean. It seems that no one told Toby because I still pick him up and carry him around and there's no smell other than that of warm body/hay. Our two does are pregnant and we're looking forward to kids in the spring.

To my experience with a good friends goats (they show them, have raw goat milk & make goat cheeses) the male will spray/rub his face in his own piss to “attract the females during rutting season.” Once that’s done & washed off, the males smell “nice” again.This is what I was told by everyone that had/has goats. Perhaps we were just lucky in getting a buck who believes in hygiene.
