Every year for the last 8 years along with lady beetle type bugs and boxelder bugs. The lady beetles always get worse when soybeans are being harvested.

About 3 or 4 years sgo I put some Old English lemon oil in a little spray bottle along with water about 50-50, and a drop of Dawn dish soap to emulsify it. Then I sprayed it all around my windows which were covered with lady beetles, I mean we had a plague of the things! They dropped like stones! I had to do this for a few days. A week or so later I had to wash my windows and around the windows also to get the oil off. But I have not had lady beetles since!

Not exactly. These things we get in vast droves look like ladybugs, but are actually Japanese or Asian lady beetles. They bite. And if you smack 'em, they stink.
