Mine is too. I pull the blooms closer to the trunk and dry them. I use the dried blooms in my hand made paper. The dried blooms hold their color very well.

Over in the sunset contest thread I was talking about how you should never get discouraged by seeing someone who's better than you are doing something you love. Here's an example. This is a photograph by Australian Photographer Lincoln Harrison. His work inspires me in my own pursuit of the night sky.

I'm not as good as he is by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't let it stop me. I am inspired by his work and I see things in it about composition, colors, exposure, and working with light that make me want to to that myself.

THAT, is what I'm talking about.
