Went out to see if the Tau Herculeids were going to be spectacular or a nothing-burger. They were the latter. I did get one though. (top right)

Due to urban light pollution, I need to travel minimum of 50 miles, but preferably 100 miles from my area, to view such sky.

This is where I was shooting last night. Not ideal, but also a good balance of LP and proximity for nights I have to get up and work the following day. I can go 75 miles up the hill and be in pristine dark skies at 6k feet, but that's more a "weekend camping" thing.
