I had a purple cast too, when I broke my wrist.

We've done 2 ankles, 2 wrists, all purple. This one apparently has gold glitter too.

I’ll see if I can find my photo proof with the cast on…. Getting serious air-time from launching as I crested the top of a dune. My Uncle took the photo.

Location? Glamis, Ca (I believe either near or at the top of “Competition Hill” in spring of 1988)

Depends on her bones really. 3 weeks minimum in the cast (she's been in a brace for 2 more already) and they will re-asses from there.

Be glad that you live far out like this. Sounds like you know how to take care of yourself, and I certainly do not see you as lazy! No..not lazy.

I happened to travel to Moscow during the covid, it is noteworthy that in the subway, according to the rules, I saw only two people in gloves - myself, and two more, and one of them did not have rubber gloves, but construction ones, in which lumber is usually loaded
Half of the people, despite the risk of being fined 5,000 rubles (the price of a good goat or sheep), went without masks, and the guards were angry and cursed at them.
If we take the sick, then they could be seen from afar by inappropriately warm, unnatural clothes, they were wrapped in woolen scarves and coats, they were clearly shivering. I tried to stay away from them.
I have no illusions about the invulnerability of my health, but I have not been ill with the flu for twenty years, despite the fact that at work I sometimes often communicated with the sick. It got to the point that half of the office could go on sick leave, but I still went to work and for some reason did not get sick. Apparently, chronic rhinitis, which both my grandfather and grandmother had, prevents me from getting the flu. They, too, almost did not get colds with viral diseases, but they constantly blew their noses, and grandfather sniffed smelly tobacco at all. Once he offered me to sniff this tobacco - my eyes almost popped out
In other words, I don’t have much choice - if you look at the reviews about our clinic, which is located in the central village of the district, they are simply terrible, all the doctors who are there are very scolded. When I read the reviews, I got the impression that doctors were gathered there, who had previously been expelled and fired from absolutely everywhere. Therefore, whether I like it or not, I cannot get sick with covid. Since there are no doctors, it is forbidden to get sick.
But with a dentist, I was more fortunate, I found a woman dentist in a neighboring town who has more than 25 years of experience in this profession, and she treats well. But she sincerely hates me, because I rarely brush my teeth, and when I arrive in the city before visiting the dentist, I have time to eat some very smelly food, in addition, I drool very much, like a mad dog. She tells me every year that she is ending her practice and that I will never come back. I would leave her alone, but, unfortunately, I simply do not know other good dentists. Therefore, she will have to suffer with me for many more years until all my teeth fall out.
In addition, I am very greedy, I always have little money and I usually put crowns on old, very cheap Soviet technologies, my smile partially shines with stainless steel. These crowns are very reliable, but absolutely unaesthetic. After she finishes work, I wait 2-3 hours, and then I go to all the railway station shops, buying all kinds of pastries, rice rolls with fish, sweet soda, chocolate and ice cream. And happily chew it with my stainless steel teeth. There was one comical case with this, one time I was fixing something on the ceiling, I think I was laying a telephone line, but one of the electricians managed to leave a bare electric cable. I didn’t notice it, I touched it and I, because of the iron teeth, sparks fell from my mouth and the smell of burning began to go. Since then, I have become very attentive in this kind of work.
As for work, I either work a lot, or sleep until dinnertime, playing computer games or watching cartoons all night. After that, I get up and go for a walk to the goats so that they eat grass, and I serve and feed the poultry. I am sometimes asked why I do not get a job, and I answer that I am too lazy to get up in the morning, I want to sleep.
Goats at one time were annoyed by my daily routine, but then they got used to it, and the new goats (who were born) did not know another, and now we walk like that, at first I sleep until dinner, and then we go to graze almost at night, when in the forest is dark and invisible. But I also have a backlit navigator, and I can navigate here well, in extreme cases, i can go to a busy highway by ear if i get lost.
