in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

If the goose scattered eggs, then they are most likely bad. I don't know how they do it, but geese somehow know how to tell if an egg is good or bad.
I try to watch for the geese when they sit on the nest. As soon as they lay an egg, I take it. If the egg lies for a long time, then here it cools down very quickly (in February we have -20 C frost, geese live in a greenhouse, but it's still cold there, not enough warm to keep the eggs).
Wish I'd known about oxcide sooner! Ya, half were rotters and never went into the incubator. Most had to be chucked over time. Have 2 showing signs of growth now out of this batch.
Are those yours? We have one boy sulcata named Spud. Old pic of him and his girlfriend...at least goosey swears he's her honey 😂

Yes. We have 3 teenaged sulcatas, 2 girls and a boy. All adoptees. They're between 14 and 17 years old and all in the 90+ pound range. (I haven't weighed them in a while)

Ours randomly showed up in our front yard 15 years ago. He was close to the same size as now already so no idea how old he is, and couldn't find where he came from.
