I grew up driving manual transmissions, I now drive automatics. I STILL grab for the gear shift or feel for the clutch on the floor, just can't stop the automatic reflexes.

I bought a used Toyota wagon and it had a stick shift. Learned to drive it in a parking lot where i bought it. Had lots of room in it, was a good car.

I was so sorry to give up driving stick shifts. We couldn't find one when we bought our latest (used) car.

The other day, I had to come to an abrupt stop. I stomped on the brake with my right foot and the (not there) clutch with my left.
