Have you ever done a speed shift with a stick shift on the tree? I have and it was embarrasing as I was trying it on a first date out with the car.

The Valiant was 3 on the tree, but my sister wrecked it before I had a driver's license.
Simulator in Driver's Ed had a 3ott, so I did put it in 3, floor the throttle and dump the clutch!
Speedo went 'ping' when it hit the stop at 120!

I never saw him again. I don't know if they molt or if he had been in a fight. I've had some rooters loose feathers like that to being picked on.
