We have resident eagles here too. My heart goes pitter pat whenever I see them.

Red Tail chased two away yesterday.
It was awesome!

We saw them a lot when we lived in NS as well.

Perhaps counterintuitively, we see them a lot where I live, and that's only a few miles from New York City. It's. . . different to see them flying over malls instead of wilderness.

We lived in Tenn. for a while.

We spent from Jan 2017- Sept 2021 in Cumberland County, TN. The winter cold and wet capitol of the state I think. I'd sure like a place that was 78° by day and 55° by night year round but I do know even that would have drawbacks.

With exception of my eagle photos most of my wildlife photos were taken in TN. I did enjoy building sets for songbirds and hummingbirds to come onto so I could capture their beauty. Butterflies too.
