Also not a variety common in my hood. I do know how a brown recluse looks,, ,,, and familiar with Black widows, that I would see quite often when was in Phoenix.
I also do not kill spiders that live outdoors. They have their purpose in nature.

Didn't seem overly aggressive, so that's good.
Not very many dangerous spiders in Western Washington, and the few that are here typically hitch hiked from east of the mountains.
I'm pretty kind to the insects 😀

Edit: It's almost like he evolved to match the Trex decking! Darwin would be very proud!

It looked like a jumping spider.
