That looks like a kissing bug or something related. Hate those things...the kissing bugs spread a parasite that causes chagas disease.

Got my Betta a 5 gallon tank. Tried the neons with him. Showed interest first day. Doesn't care anymore. I don't have the decorations set up yet. Just stuck those in. He likes having something to rest under..last photo.
