Ouch! I can relate. I call hardware cloth the "fight & bite." It's always trying to fight you and bite you!

It is Summer Fly season. These work FANTASTIC.
These are home-made traps. I purchased the bait.
Seems I cleaned out the neighborhood.
Fly's are under control.

I bet your neighbors love it, too! How does it differ from the commercially made ones with the same bait? Is it just a larger container?

the container will last indefinitely, where the plastic ones usually make it a few months before they are brittle and fail. We do the same thing. Plus, bait refills are less spendy than replacing the whole trap.
