I wonder why they would plant it so close to the building?
Maybe in Arizona they don’t have to worry to much about the roots cracking the slab!

Professional landscape designers make parking lots attractive looking. When that tree goes south,, they will dig it out, (remove) and replace with another ornamental green. Do note that,, that tree is quite green. Im sure it has irrigation supplied to the roots automatically.
