Mine, too. I'll admit I cried when the North Rim burned last year. November on the North Rim was my favorite for camping. Perfect weather, few tourists, sublime experience.

Not sure if you observed,,, The hands are tied in the back.
I first thought it was Biblical,, Daniel, and the Lions den.
Then there were the evil Romans inside the coliseum, they used to offer humans to the lions for entertainment. Disgusting times,

Yes, it's a painting titled "Daniel in the Lions' Den," by British artist Briton Rivière, 1872. I wasn't trying to push any religion, I just found it a visually interesting painting, particularly the lions.
