I love them, but one of their breed club websites says strongly advises they are not for everyone - VERY independent, only for the very firm handler. I'm pretty firm, and love a big dog, but they are more than I'm willing to deal with. I think the breed club doesn't want them to become one of the "dogs of the moment," which is never a good thing for any breed.

The one dog I have seen that I think was one of those an that big was standing on all fours in the bed of a full sized truck an had its head over the cab.
