Too cute!!
Here's a pic of my coonhound's fourth birthday party - we got those hats from the dollar store, and used a matching cup to make a hat for the dachshund. It's me, my husband, my little brother (he lives with us), Duncan in the cup hat, Sonja on the ground, and Lucy, the birthday girl. I think she knows it's her party - she looks proud!

I have no intentions of starting a debate. I know, your in a tough spot, and i don't envy you. Didn't realize a cat would take down a full grown chicken! Guess I would be trapping and taking to the shelter, (which if cat is feral, shelter would euthanize). I really do feel bad for you losing chickens, but I feel bad for a domesticated animal that was most likely dumped there, having to fend for itself. Even kittens born feral are somehow related to a once domesticated pet. I just wouldn't be able to shoot a cat, just me.
