A few weeks ago, in a park, Mrs. Gargoyle found this little guy sitting on the sidewalk- she put him on a picnic table, he sat there for a long time, and watched us closely as we walked around him. A little later we saw another bird (his mother?) frantically flying around the area searching and calling for him. We had to leave, but I think she did find him. When we came back a bit later both of them were gone.

What kind of bird is he?

I put that on my favorites so I can read more. You are very talented!!!!! This is very impressive about helping restore the west part of the US Capital building. I am speechless. (almost) lol

well, I need something to keep me busy when I'm not playing with my chickens....

My ducklings have always used their necks to pull themselves up over obstacles, but I've never caught a sight of anything quite so extreme. Amazing how they can maneuver through life......
