The one I drove had a shift lever in the dash- you clutch, pull it out, twist it, push it in, release clutch.
Also, the key was snapped off in the ignition so my friend ran a wire through a button mounted on the dash, had a photo of a woman pasted over the button. You hold down the clutch and brake, push the womans stomach, and the car would start.
LOL!
