As a previous owner of LF and now an owner of bantams only, I can attest to the fact that those little gals can make just as much noise as their big sisters
My personal experience is that the feathered feet varieties may be less destructive on the garden than the LF and they definitely take up less room but as aart mentioned, their odour is no less powerful during the rainy season.
