Inaccurate hydrometer

Yes works great with a digital hygrometer. Just dont put it in the cup...LOL

Oh and make sure to read the hygrometer before you open the ziplock bag or you will need to wait another & hours...I am sure that was common sense but anyway..

Room temp does not make a difference....well unless its like 100 plus degrees or something.

Turning by hand, How often would you open it up to turn eggs?

and yet another question..........

Still air incubation, 102 degrees at top of egg .....right?

Thanks SOOO much, folks!

Turn by hand 3 times a day is good...An auto turner turns the eggs 1 time every 4 hours..or so

IMO 102 at the top is a bit high...Most people say 99.5 for a bator with a fan and 100 or 100.5 for a still air...But I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination!

I am sure some more experienced hatchers will respond after me.

I am satisfied.. the temp was 75 degrees .. corresponding to another thermometer..
