Inbreeding?

Is there any type of inbreeding worries if you have a small flock? I am starting two new breeds right now and would like to hatch eggs from them down the road. Any details would be great as I know nothing about the breeding aspect of chickens.

Go for it Big. Get some experience and don`t worry about inbreeding at this point.

Once established you can breed mother/son, father/daughter, but try to avoid brother/sister. But, things as they are, some things happen.

Breeding of most livestock, replacing the male with one from outside bloodlines every 2 generations is preferable. If you start with hatchery stock you probably have several bloodlines to start with.
