Incandescent or heat bulb in brooder?

Getting ready to move the little ones to the brooder, should I use a regular light bulb, or one a heat bulb made for reptiles? I have both just wondering which is better.

I use the 250 watt red heat lamp bulb for mine and I get mine at our local farmer's co-op. My chicks are only a week old and it is still very cool here where I live in the evenings. I would imagine up in Ohio that you were still quite chilly weatherwise, so I would think you should use a heat lamp bulb as well.

Ok thanks so much for the answer. I will use the red heat lamp, it is still pretty chilly here in the evenings.
