Including your new babies - how many chickens do you have?

Hi there!

Started with 8 various standard breed pullets.
Then kids talked me into 6 more various pullets from TSC.
Then I had 6 bantam cochins hatch.
Then my 10 silkies just came, with 10 packing peanuts...all boys.
And 4 standard breeds to hatch 3/30.
Then 9 more to hatch 4/3.
Then 12 more various breeds to come in April to be incubated.

How many is that??

I just bought 10 pullets for TSC. My BIL got 20 unsexed chicks, so I will be getting a roo from him a bit later.

and I have this sneaking suspicion that I have missed some. Im hoping to get a few Cuckoo Marans and call my flock complete (before my husband wants to strangle me)

A dozen eggs to be arriving next week. 8 eggs in the bator already. 2 more eggs under a broody hen. Have 19 in the brooder that hatched last week. The grown ones outside? I refuse to count...

I have 4 right now, with 3 more coming tuesday. I think i have 3 cockerels though, so it'll be back down to 4ish in a few weeks.

We have five eight month olds and six babies of various ages...that's 11...a lot for us in our little backyard!

we have 48 isa browns, a pair of purebred australorps, one americauna, one dark brown unknown variety hen, 2 other roosters.. very handsome, 4 "mutts' that we hatched 4 weeks ago, 6 cochins and buff brahma chicks that we just hatched out 3 days ago from eggs from a neighbour farmer, and 15 pekin ducklings.

2 hens and 30 babies...though I think I'm going to need more babies.

Seriously, though, I am starting to notice a disproportionately large number of very pink combs in the chicks...I'm afraid I won't have enough females. Most of my favorites are looking like boys

No, it's not just an excuse to get more. Really. =P
