Increasing Fence Height - Ideas?

These are all such amazing ideas. Thank you so much. I wouldn't know what to do without the BYC community!
Well thanks to you all I think I now have a secure extended run! 6' bamboo stakes, some outdoor netting and zip ties. All for less than $40. Wanted to show you guys how it turned out.

I am raising my first flock...three 8-week olds! My SS has learned to jump the 4-foot temp fence I have installed outside their run to give them more space. I think if I could extend the height another foot with a slick/solid (vinyl/plastic?) material where she can't grip the open wire with her feet. I just don't know what to use or how to attach it on top of the fence. Please see the photos.
Any thoughts or experience?

Thank you!
Zip ties and snow fencing if orange color isn’t offensive

The extra netting looks good but MTR makes a sensible remark. Is this solution weather proof in all seasons? Do you have hurricanes, blizzards where you live? How mild is you’re climate?
Hi. I live in Los Angeles just 2 miles from the coast. So we have very mild (and beautiful!) weather. No snow, hurricanes, tornadoes. Right now also no rain :(

The like is for the chickens. 🤞I hope you don’t have water problems or fires. And I hope people get smart enough to do something to stop climate change before things get worse.
