I have some chicks that as of yesterday evening were slow to eat the Manna Pro Medicated Chick Starter I use in the brooder. In addition to the feed in the chick feeder, I mixed up another batch of the same feed with water and placed it in a small measuring cup. After about an hour the chicks began eating only the moistened feed, ignoring the dried form from that point on. They also do not bill the moistened feed out of the container reducing waste.
