Incubated and hatched a "store" egg...

I can't believe it worked. A month ago the girls weren't laying much, the wife did the forbidden act of buying a $7/dozen "Vital Farm".. I took 3 and put them in the incubator for the fun of it. Well, 3 days later, one showed vascularity and was obviously fertilized.

Well 4 days ago... that little guy on the left hatched at the same time as my lil Dark Brahma (huge head on the right, like really huge head lol)

Have no idea what she could be. She looks a little funny, long neck, white belly and two colored legs, dark legs and yellow feet. She's really perky too. These two seem to like each other a lot and are the quietest chicks I've raised so far.

I have heard of people doing that, LOL! Good for you, kinda cool experiment! Maybe post a picture tomorrow in natural lighting, really hard to see what color she is or anything.
