You got to join the HAL if you set eggs. Today was the "official" set day. I was planning on waiting until tomorrow, but I had to pick up my eggs Friday, and well, they ended up going in the bator yesterday...lol. Which ment I could still take part in the HAL, but instead of having hatching on Easter it should be a couple days before. I'll get you the thread link and you can htahc a long with the other almost 300 of us...lol

This is Tonybluegoat. Congrats on the find. These are great incubators. It looks like you found the manual on https://www.gqfmfg.com/pdf/Cabinet Model Instructions.pdf

It should have 2-3 holes in the back to vent air. Make sure not to cover them. Leave at least one open. If you can't keep your humidity high enough then add some wicking pads to the water tray. You can get them here:

At first I would keep at two good digital thermometers in it. They won't read exactly the same, probably, but I normally split the difference.

Finally got it going Amylynn.... Got 30 eggs in it now as a test run .

That's awesome!! Congrats! I have 3/36 hatched and another 9 pipping, but I am still in day 19, so plenty of time.
