incubater makeing question

    anyone ever take a lg incubator and egg turnner (parts in good condetion) apart and make a nice box insted of the styro junk ? do u anve any pictures or plans ?

    I could not use the heating element because of the size of cabinet,would not have been big enough to heat it.I did use LG auto egg turners and they work great.

    If you just make a two tray incubator the heating element might be big enough.The incubator above is made out of 3/4" plywood.I would just measure the size of the LG egg turners and make your cabinet that size.I had to go with a 220 to 250 watt element,you can get them from just about anywhere they sell cabinet incubators.

    Good luck if you give it a try,I think it will work if you keep the cabinet size to a one or two tray unit.
