Incubating a&m eggs

I've never seen any movement of eggs with mine but I also never watched them for extended periods of time. For me, most the first ones start the evening of day 15 and most were hatched by day 16. I found that they don't take as long as chicken chicks to go from pip to hatch. They all hatch pretty close together, too. I don't think I had any hatch after day 18 from the batches I have done.

Sometimes you can hear them, but in all honesty, apart from a few bits of shell on the floor, I never saw mine..woke up in the morning, and they were there. Then every few hours there would be more. Enjoy it.. don't be tempted to 'help', it seldom does and remember, lockdown means no opening until it is time for the wee critters to come out (usually 18-24 hrs after hatching, but you will know).

See some eggs wobbleing around setting up a 73 qt Rubbermaid tub for brooder will 125w heat lamp be to hot

I would set it all up now, once it’s warmed you can take the tempurature under the lamp. You may have to raise the lamp higher up or move it further to the side if it’s too hot. Sometimes it takes some tweaking to get it right.
